Ernesto, on a panel: “There’s a human connection that we have to have. Getting out in front of people, right? Building those relationships. That’s still important.”

Ernesto, teaching about AI agents: “If they’re programmed right, if you write it correctly, design it correctly, it can actually do real work for you.”

Closing: Talks. Panels. Breakouts. Make AI make sense. Bring practical AI to your next event. A conversation your audience can use. josa.ai/speaking.

Meet Ernesto Josato.

Ernesto Josato is the founder of JOSA.AI, a Lakeland, Florida company focused on AI training for the public, small businesses, and workforce development programs. He teaches people how to use AI in their daily work and, for those who want to go further, how to build with it. He also continues to build custom AI agents and automated workflows for small and mid-sized businesses, so his classes are grounded in what actually works.

One theme runs through every stage of Ernesto’s career, and audiences say it again and again: he makes complicated technology make sense. He explains AI, automation, and systems in plain terms that regular people can act on, without ever talking down to the room. People leave his sessions feeling capable, not lost.

Ernesto brings more than 25 years of corporate IT experience to that work. He served as a technical account manager at Thomson Reuters, Automation Anywhere, Rapid7, and Nucleus Security, supporting SaaS platforms in the oil and gas and cybersecurity industries, and held management roles along the way. That background shapes his approach: AI is only useful when it fits how a business actually runs.

Teaching is not new to him. Before AI, Ernesto spent years in e-commerce and adult education, showing entrepreneurs how to launch and manage their own online stores. His work with eBay helping small businesses move onto online platforms was featured in Entrepreneur magazine. He has also taught technology courses at the community college level.

Ernesto also serves as Chief AI Officer on the board of the Open Doors Global Development Foundation and holds a BS in Organizational Leadership and Technology from Saint Louis University.
